By now everyone should have had some correspondence from their coaches regarding returning to football. If you have not please contact them or the club and we will provide you with the details you need.
With training starting up next week there is a few guidelines and rules we need to share to ensure we all stay safe.
As exciting as it is, please do not congregate before and after training. We ask that parents/carers stay in the car and that players only hop out of the car 5 minutes before training begins.
Hand sanitiser will be provided and used before, during and after training.
We ask that players please not touch any equipment set out by the coach or handle the footballs.
Thankfully yesterday we found out the restrictions for outdoor training has changed to 20 which allows teams to train together with the max on a team being 16. That said, training will be adhering to social distancing.
Drink bottles must be clearly labelled and spaced out to prevent sharing.
We ask that if a player has been unwell that they do not attend training. Coaches have permission and the support of the club to send players home if they show up at training sick. It is for the safety and well being for all.
We have given each team a designated time slot to train each week to ensure we give everyone enough space to train. Your coach has been given this timetable and will let you know when your training has been set.
The draw for the season is on its way but we can share that due to the short time we have games will be played throughout the school holidays. Once the draw is complete we will let all the coaches know and share it on our Facebook page and a link will be on the home page of our website.
As the season draws closer we will have more information on what game day will look like as at the moment it is still a work in progress.
The committee would like to thank everyone for their patience and we wish you all (finally) the absolute best for the season. May this year be the #yearofthepanthers ⚽
