Senior Summer Soccer Update

So you’ve heard the news, the Senior Summer Soccer competition is going ahead. We are only doing so once NSW hits 80% double dose vaccinated but with the outcome of this looking quite positive we are getting ready now.

That said, it will be run a little different this year.

Due to the time of year we have had to shorten the season by a half. We have arranged the competition as best we can in order to satisfy the majority of people. This means we have two pools (Black and White of course) of six who will play each other each week. The finals are then determined by where the team places in the pool. Top two are A Grade, middle B and last two C.

All players for this season MUST BE DOUBLE VACCINATED. We understand that this may be a controversial issue but please understand we are following the rules of which our governing bodies have set. Your registration will not be approved unless a Proof of Vaccination has been sighted by the Secretary of the club. You will need to send this to your team contact.

If you are not in a team but are still interested in playing please reach out to admin@mufc.net.au and we will endeavour to place you in a team. There are no promises as most teams are already full, but we will do our best to place you. Priority is always given to our winter players.

We do ask that there be no spectators unless absolutely necessary for the time being.

All players must sign in through our QR Code and on our team sign on sheets.

The canteen will be open but we do ask that no one congregate in the clubhouse as we can only have 10 people in there at any one time.

The committee would like to thank everyone for their patience in getting this off the ground. We appreciate the support we have received and are looking forward to hosting yet another summer competition.
